HOLME PARISH COUNCIL (PC) ELECTIONS 2019
The current PC will stand down in April 2019 and elections will take place in early May for the new PC. Anyone can stand to be a Parish Councillor (PCllr). This is an important role in the community and the current PC has achieved many positive benefits for the village. If you would like to find out more, please attend a meeting or contact the Clerk to the PC, Steve Young, for more information (see attached poster for all contact details).
PC Minutes of Meetings, the newsletter "HOSM Grapevine" etc can be found on their website: http://www.hosmparishcouncil.co.uk/home
Holme PC meets monthly on the third Wednesday of every month at 7pm in the Methodist Church Hall on Selby Road.
Everyone is welcome and there is time made at the start of every meeting for a public session. If you wish to speak in the public session, please contact the Clerk to the PC, five days before the meeting to get booked in.
The Clerk can be contacted to confirm if there is a guest speaker or not and if there is a speaker, the meeting would commence at 6:30pm
In addition to the meetings, the PC holds surgeries on the Saturday before the Wednesday meeting, to allow anyone to have access to PCllrs, to express views and also to view planning applications and decisions.
If any person has any concerns re: anti-social behaviour in Holme on Spalding Moor or any other issues they feel the Police need to know about, our Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) will be available to discuss them, work pressures permitting. These surgeries are held between 10am and 12 noon in The Coffee Shop, Village Courtyard (off the High Street, back of Schoolwear Shop/Katherine's Barbers).
Anyone wishing to; receive notice of meetings and/or a copy of the agenda by email; give notice to speak at a meeting; wishes to view current planning applications or any PC document, again, they can contact the Clerk.
If you have any questions, problems or concerns you can contact either the Clerk or any Parish/Ward Cllr (again, see attached poster for all contact details).
