Every week there is a different craft activity available, with seasonal projects throughout the year. There is also a wide range of toys available to suit any age pre-school child. At about 10:30am toast and a cold drink is provided for the children, with hot drinks on offer for the adults. Towards the end of the session the children are all encouraged to join in with singing and sometimes other group activities.
Sessions cost £2 for one adult with one child and then 30p for each additional adult or child. This includes a drink and toast for the child and a drink and snack for the adult.
On the first Wednesday of the month the Children’s Centre brings a toy library to the group. Toys can be taken home for the next month for a small fee.
The group is organised by members of the group and they ask everyone to help out as much as possible. Everyone is welcome, whether on a regular or ad hoc basis, just drop in and say “hello” or send a "+Join group" request to their Closed Group on Facebook with any enquiries.
